Removing a debt that isn't mine

I have a mortgage on my credit that isn't mine any more. It was in my ex's and my name. But, I never removed it, and I am checking to see if anyone knows how to get the item off. He pays it on time, but it shows up as a debt I don't have. Help!

Until your name is removed from the mortgage loan, it stays on your credit report. Period. So until the ex refinances the mortgage with a new mortgage that does not have your name on it, it remains on your credit report.
