I have two open accounts on my credit report that I'm behind on paying, but they don't show any late payment history (using Turbo's credit score account view) and also list $0 for the amount past due.
Am I just lucky that these accounts aren't accurately reporting the account status to credit bureaus? Can accounts like these suddenly update and reflect the current historical state?

Yes and yes. The lender may be giving you a grace period, or they may just be slow to update the credit bureaus, and these late payments could show up at any time. (Don't forget you have 3 credit reports with the different bureaus and Turbo® only checks TransUnion.)
Typically lenders will only report late payments if they are 30, 60, or 90 days past the due date.
