Can Quitting a job affect you credit score??

I recently had a job that I quit with out notice. I already had another job already in line. But I was told that Quitting my job was going to lower my credit. Is this true or not true.

Yes it will affect it because of the time on the job.

I'm almost certain that quitting a job does not affect your credit score. There's no entry on the credit report for job history. Plus it doesn't make sense to me, switching jobs doesn't affect your credit history.
