Is 1098-T a form of income when we fill out the taxes?

Form 1098-T is a tuition statement issued by eligible educational institutions to students. It reports tuition paid and scholarships received. It is used to determine eligibility to education credits such as the American Opportunity Tax Credit (AOTC) or the Lifetime Learning Credit (LLC).
