Original question:
Husband is college professor. He receives taxable monies (reported on Box 1 of W2) for wife's college tuition. Is this monies exclusible in figuring Education credit?
Clarification:
Turbo tax has a question: Did she receive scholarship or grant or other types of aid? Does he answer no?... because the monies is taxable. So she would qualify for more Lifelong Learning Education credit.
