Student Interest not claimed

Hello, I didn't claim the student interest I paid in 2014 on my taxes. Can I claim them this year with the interest I also paid in 2016? I have the paperwork. If I can, where would I enter it on the form?

You can only claim the interest in the tax year it was paid.  You will have to amend your 2014 return if you want to claim interest for that year.
