Yes, but you must amend the return when you get the correct information.
It is better to get the correct information before filing your return, but if you cannot, then you do need to be sure to amend your return later as stated by Champ ee-ea.
If you are referring to your Form 1098 reporting mortgage interest, you may be able to call your mortgage company's toll-free phone number to get the amount of mortgage interest that you paid for the year. Often this is the type of information you can get through an automated system. Or, if you have access to your account online, your Form 1098 may be available there as well.
