Am I missing something? Finished up my taxes and I cannot E-File. For context, the past year I have just been a student (Completed 1098-T) and have not W2's to input.

It states that multiple lines for my 1040 are blank so can't E-file.

It sounds like you don't have any information to file on the return, and "blank" or 0 returns can't be e-filed.  Sometimes there are reasons to file a return other than reporting income so to overcome this return to the income section of find the section for interest.

Indicate that you will type in the information yourself and report $1 of interest.   This will allow you to e-file the return.

Why do you think you need to file?

What does "completed 1098-T" mean? What is your age? A full time unmarried student, under age 24, even if you don't qualify as a dependent, is only eligible for the refundable portion of the American Opportunity Credit if he supports himself by working. You cannot be supporting yourself on parental support, 529 plans or student loans & grants. It is usually best if the parent claims that credit.

You cannot claim a credit if you are, or can be, claimed as a dependent by someone else.
