my son is in collage in Tennessee we live in Illinois and pay $1105 for rent, is this money considered as Tuition? we pay Tuition separately what docs I need to start

Rent is not tuition.    Room and board are not qualified education expenses.   His rent is not a qualified education expense, so there is nothing to enter on your tax return about paying your son's rent while he is in college, unless you are paying it from a plan such as a 529.
