My daughter turn 18 during 2016, was a high school student first half of year, graduated & started college in August. She had $5040 W2 earnings, can I still claim her?

Turbo tax indicated that if she was a full time student, and asked if she made over $4550 in earnings, then I couldn't claim her. It also stated about a form to report her income on which I cant find in my home and business turbo tax.  She had federal withholdings and would like to get it back if possible.

If we don't report her wages this year, can she claim them next year along with any 2017 reported income, and get both years of federal withholdings back if she has a refund coming?

Ok ... go back and look at that screen again that asked if she was a full time student ... only if you answer no to full time student does the income come into play.  AT 18 she is still your dependent and because she had wages she must file her own return to get a refund and you cannot just wait and combine 2016 with 2017 later.,
