Interest on student loan

My student loans are currently in a creditor. I'm now on a payment plan with Department of Education, then in months to have my loans "reactivated" to begin paying.  Can I report student interest loans?

Interest on student loan

Yes, you should receive a 1098-E from the lender.  You can enter your student loan interest using the instructions below:

  1. Go to My Account > Tools > Topic Search
  2. Type 1098-E in the search box and then click Go.
  3. Answer Yes to the question Did you make any student loan payments?
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions.
