If you paid a dependent's tuition out of pocket can you use the Jersey Institution of Higher Education Tuition deduction?

Yes, you can deduct up to $10,000 for tuition costs paid to a New Jersey college or university for your dependent if your income is $200,000 or less.  The expenses must be required to enroll or attend the school.
