I attended an accredited university's IT certificate program in 2018 but the course was not for-credit so I didn't receive an 1098-T. How do I account for it on my taxes?

I contacted the program, and they said they do not send out 1098-Ts because the program was a certificate program and not for-credit. This was through the University of Denver's program by Trilogy Education Services.

You can use the Lifetime learning credit to report this on your tax return you do not need a 1098-T to claim the credit.

To qualify for the Lifetime Learning credit, you must have made tuition and fee payments to a post-secondary school (after high school) during the year. You can claim the credit for any post-secondary classes you take; you don't have to be working towards a degree.
