How do I file a 1098 form

What type of Form 1098 did you receive? 

A Form 1098-T for education expenses?  A Form 1098 for Mortgage Interest?  A Form 1098-E for Student Loan Interest?  Something else?

If you’re trying to include information from a Form 1098, Mortgage Interest Statement that you’ve received from a lender, you can enter it in TurboTax Online following this path:

1. If you don’t see 2022 TAXES in the left pane, scroll down and select the dropdown to the right of Deductions & Credits and select Let’s get started, Pick up where you left off, or Review/Edit. 
   • Otherwise, in the left pane, select the dropdown to the right of Federal, then select Deductions & Credits 
2. On the Your tax breaks page, scroll down and select the Show more dropdown to the right of Your Home
3. Select Start or Revisit to the right of Mortgage Interest and Refinancing (Form 1098)
4. On the Did you pay any home loans in 2022? page, select Yes
5. Enter all relevant information on the ensuing pages
