Grant not reported on 1098-T form.

I received a grant that was not reported on my 1098-T form. I think it was because my financial aid department at the school I go to takes a long time to get anything approved and by the time the grant had gone through I already paid my tuition. The school just cut me a check for the total amount. Do I report this on my 1098-T form by just adding the amount to the box 5 total? If not where would I report this grant information? It was the Golden State Teacher Grant just incase that matters.

Grant not reported on 1098-T form.

After you enter the 1098-T, the program asks if you had any additional Scholarships and/or Grants.

Enter the amount here.

The Education Section is tricky, you might need to enter the 1098-T, and then EDIT to finish the interview.

Increasing Box 5 would work just the same.
