Can I claim my 1098e from 2016 and my 1098e 2017 at the same time

No, you cannot claim two separate tax year amounts on a single tax year.

You can claim your 2017 1098-E form on this year return.

You would need to amend your 2016 return to include that year's 1098-E form. Click here for instructions on how to file your amended return.
