In British Columbia, the provincial tuition tax credit was eliminated after 2018 (prior to 2019), so the provincial value is $0. However, BC residents can still claim the federal tuition tax credit, which is 15% of eligible tuition fees. For example, 15% of $5,000 is $750 in tax deductions.
