Why doesn't half of my self-employment tax show up as a business expense?
Does the 1/2 of the Self-Employment Tax that is calculated based on my Schedule C show up as a deduction somewhere?

Why doesn't half of my self-employment tax show up as a business expense?
It does. It is on the first page of the 1040 on line 27 as a direct deduction of your income.
