I got married last year and we also bought our first home together. I need to know what form to use when filing taxes. We also completely renovated the house and I want to see if that is tax deductible. We will be filing joint

You can start with the TurboTax Free Edition and if expenses from your new home (mortgage interest, taxes) will generate a Schedule A, then TurboTax will prompt you to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe.

Renovations of your primary residence are not deductible.  They are added to the cost of the home and can be important in the future if you should decide to rent or sell the home. Be sure to keep records of your renovations.
