It depends.
If you have more than one partner and are operating as a partnership, you will need to file in California as a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), not as a Limited Liability Company (LLC).
Form 1065 does not have a designation as a 1065 LLC, it is simply a 1065 form and it used to report the activity for either an LLC or an LLP. Each partner's share of tax activity will be reported to them on a Schedule K-1.
In California, assuming this is a LLP, you would file using California Form 565, Partnership Return of Income.
