I received a K-1 for inheritance from a trust. Only Box 2b, 4a, 5, 12 and 14 have an amount. I can't submit my final tax return until box 2a is filled in and 0 in that field doesn't allow me to finalize. Suggestions?

Enter the same amount for Box 2a that is reported for Box 2b. Qualified dividends are also Ordinary dividends. The trust may have missed that entry.

this may present  a problem for you if 2a is greater than 2b - no way to know. contact the executor or trustee.
