1040/1040SR Wks, Schedule 3, line 14 (add lines 8 through 13 = 0) does not add up (TT shows withholding amount)?

The 1040/1040SR Wks, Schedule 3, line 14 is confusing where it says "Add lines 8 throught 13." In my case, these lines are blank, yet TT shows 6,800 (which equals my withholding from the main 1040 form, line 17). It appears the final form 1040 is correct, but how can I be sure?

It shows your 6,800 withholding on schedule 3 line 14?  If you 1040 line 17 is right and nothing on 18d then it's ok.  Double check the actual 1040 line 18d and make sure your withholding is not there.  Was it actually from withholding or did you make estimated payments?

Yes, it shows the withholding on Schedule 3, line 14.  The actual 1040 line 17 is correct and the line 18d is empty. It is withholding from a pension 1099-R; no estimated tax payments were made.
