In ProSeries, you need to enter the information on the "Asset Entry Worksheet".  There is a "Quickzoom" button about 1/2 way down the Schedule E worksheet (a little below Line 22).

Even easier, just double click the space on Line 18a of the Schedule E Worksheet.

As you go through the Rental interview, you will be asked the purchase price of the property and the date. The program uses this information to calculate the depreciation. In the depreciation section, you can walk through the additional questions.

TT is an interview based program where direct form entry is not available if you use the ONLINE version and if you use the Downloaded/CD version you can make direct entries in the FORMS mode HOWEVER this will void the accuracy guarantee and keep you from efiling.
