Middle Initial

Deleted my wife's middle initial in personal info section; her legal name does not have a middle initial; when trying to E-file, Massachusetts approval form says "middle initial does not match" and will not let me proceed.  Not sure what the program is trying to match or where to change.  Legal name is desired since she started a business and we are filing a schedule C.

To correct your wife's middle initial follow these steps.

• With TurboTax open click on the my info tab in the left-hand column.
• You will be taken to the Personal Info Summary page. 
• Scroll down to your wife's information and select edit.
• Edit your wife's middle initial on the Let's get your spouse's personal info page.
