Why does TurboTax Business allow you to prepare K1's and file your taxes and TurboTax Home and BUsiness says that K1's are not available until 2/16?

Probably no one here could answer your question with absolute certainty, but K-1s are available if they were issued in conjunction with 1041s (estates/trusts).

Since the forms are not yet available for 1065 and 1120-S, it might have something to do with basis calculations for partners/members/shareholders.
