I received a late penalty for filling S Corporation Return 12-31-2016 and was wondering about getting it removed or reduced?

Yeah ... maybe ... if this is your first time you failed to file it on time you can beg to have it removed. Respond to the late notice politely and contritely.

I invested in a S-corporation that only had losses over 10 years. I'm wondering since the company is sold how to report my losses in Schedule D and/or Schedule E?
