I'm self employed and need to file a schedule C form but all I see when it asks me to enter earned income is a 1099. Where is the schedual C form?
I usually file a schedual C form for self employment, turbo tax is only asking me if I have a 1099-misc form, which I don't but I do have earned income from my business. Where do I enter that?

To enter your income so TurboTax generates Schedule C, see #1 below.
#1 If your self-employment income was from cash or personal checks or credit card payments:
- Type sch c in the Search box and
- Then click on Jump to sch c.
- This will take you to where you can enter any cash, personal checks or credit card payments (Form 1099-K) related to your self-employment.
- You may be asked some general questions about your business.
- After you answer them, you’ll be taken to the Your Business screen where you can enter this income as Additional Income under Business Income.
#2 If you received a 1099-MISC for your self-employed income:
- Type 1099-misc in the search box and click search.
- Click on Jump to 1099-misc.
- This will take you directly to the section where you can enter your 1099-MISC.
- You’ll also be able to enter any cash, personal checks or credit card payments (Form 1099-K) related to your self-employment.

Yes if you have a big enough refund to cover the fees plus the EXTRA 39.99 Refund Processing Service Charge. Did you send in quarterly estimated payments to cover your self employment tax? Otherwise you might have a tax due and not a refund.
