I file a joint Federal and Virginia Taxes return for me and my spouse (we are Virginia residents) but for my daughter, who is a NY resident, I file Federal and NY taxes. However, despite clearly indicating that me and my spouse are residents only of Virginia, Turbotax automatically also prepare NY state taxes for us. How do I remove the NY Tax form from my joint return. This was not a problem when I did it the last two years but this year, this problem has popped up.
The search function in TurboTax used to be marginally useful before but it does not provide ANY useful information to queries anymore.
