When I first went through Turbo Tax Home & Business, I know I entered all of the details of the room in my house that is used solely for work, but now I can't find it. I am not the business owner, but have a dedicated room that I do office work and shipping for my employer. Where would I go to deduct the utilities paid for the % of this room? Thanks in advance.

Under Income & Expenses (tab at the top of your screen), click Review next to Self-employment income and expenses (this assumes that you have already entered your self-employed income).
I'm using TT Home & Business because I have income from a direct sales company that I'm an independent consultant for, but I'm not using a home office for that, I use it for my regular job. Is it still okay to add my employer's company here even though I'm not the business owner? When I go to add this info, it's specifically prompting me to select whether my husband, myself or both are the business owner.
If you use a Home Office for your work as an employee (W-2), that is not deductible on the Federal tax return. So DON'T enter that under your self employed business that does not use that Home Office.
Thank you
