Georgia Final Return Explanation

I'm working through the e-file steps and Turbotax for Business says 'Since you are filing a final return, you are required to attach an explanation statement when you e-file'. I can't find anywhere that says what this 'statement' is. Is it just a few sentences on why I'm dissolving the company? Seems kind of dumb to me.

You just need to make a short statement like "Assets liquidated and business closed". Just give short explanation.

No, you will have to mail the statement to Georgia Department of Revenue. If you have a tax account at Georgia Tax Center, you can upload the statement and send it that way.

Another option is to file your return by mail with the statement attached.
