I do not have any employees who qualify for this credit. I don't have to file this form and I cannot file electronically 😞 Please help!!!

You will need to delete the form in your return.

If using TurboTax Online:

Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.

In TurboTax Desktop:

Windows Instructions

Switch to Forms mode.
In the left pane, select the form you want to remove.
After the form is generated in the right pane, select the Delete Form button at the bottom of the window.
Follow any instructions to remove the form or forms.

Mac Instructions

Switch to Forms mode.
In the left pane, select the form you want to remove (if you don't see it, select Open Form at the top).
From the Forms menu, select Remove [form name].
Follow any on-screen instructions to remove the form or forms.

Turbo tax does not include the form it is claiming that I need.

When I pull up the form 5884 on the IRS web, as I'm looking at it, I don't need the form.

So, it looks like Turbo Tax thinks I need the form and I don't.

When I override the field where Turbo tax is asking for the information from Form 5884, it keeps telling me I have an error in my taxes. It absolutely will not let me file my taxes electronically without the form that I don't need. How can I get past this?

Go to tax tools>tools>delete a form>look for 5884 and delete it.

If using the software, go to forms and look for the forms on the left hand side of the screen. Select the form and it will appear on the right side of your screen. Scroll to the bottom and delete the form.
