form 1096

In the past years my 1099 misc. was compiled on form 1096.  This year the non employee compensation was filed on the new 1099-nec form. Is there a form that compiles the 1099-nec forms?

The total of your forms 1099-NEC is reported on form 1096 (exactly like in previous years for forms 1099-MISC). Form 1096 is used when the forms 1099-NEC are submitted manually, not when they are transmitted electronically.
