Can you edit business activity code on state return?

Turbotax completed the state return from Federal return but did not correct the business activity code.

You cannot normally change the activity code for the state, but I'd need to know what state you are referring to to be more specific. I wouldn't think you would need to change it, but that may not be true in your specific state.

It is the State of Florida return. I filled out the Federal return (1120) and used the new business activity code in it, but when I opened the state return, everything transferred over except the correct code. No way to edit it either.

Don't worry about it. There is no inherent purpose of the code only to be  used for statistical purposes only. See HERE.
