How do I open the schedule E worksheet so I can complete it?

The entries for Schedule E are entered through the step-by-step interview in TurboTax Online. 

  1. Go to Federal in the left column and choose Wages & Income >> Rental Properties & Royalties.
  2. Add a property and follow the interview to report expenses, income, and assets for depreciation.

 

If you prefer to work directly on the IRS forms (not recommended), you will need to purchase and install TurboTax Desktop on your home computer.
