Where do I file K-1 Form 1041 Estate info?

If you need to enter information from a K-1 you received and you're using an online version of TurboTax, you need to be using TurboTax Premium.

If you need to prepare a 1041 for an estate and want to use TurboTax, you need to use TurboTax Business.

@shaagenson Did you get a K-1 and need to enter it into your personal tax return?

You need to use Online Premium or any of the Desktop programs to enter a K-1.

To enter a K-1 go to

Federal Taxes Tab or Personal (Home & Business version)

Wages and Income

Then scroll way down to S-Corp, Partnerships and Trusts

Schedules K-1 - Click the Start or Update button

Be sure to pick the right kind of K-1. There are 3 kinds, 1041, 1065 & 1120S
