so after filing a return when i click print i get the message below Your New York Return contains non-final forms, which are currently not available and when i preview the pdf it does not show me the state return only the 1040

Some forms aren't available to be e-filed yet. This could be because the state hasn't released the form to be electronically filed. Once they do release it, it might take a few days for TurboTax to integrate it into the system. 

Go to the link below and then on the blue "This Tool" link, and locate your state for when a specific return or Form will be available to be filed:

Well according to the tool print and efile are available but im still not able to see it when i try printing.

In the FILE section, when you choose the View/Save/Print option, try saving your returns as a PDF file on your computer.  Do you see your New York return in the PDF?

If you go directly to Print, in the print dialog box that pops up, make sure you scroll down and select your State return.

If you have a notice that some forms are not ready, click on the link to 'notify me when my forms are ready' and you'll get an email when they are.

Hello, I still receive this message when trying to view, print, or file NY state taxes for 2025. "Your New York return(s) is currently unavailable to view, print, or download because some of the forms haven't been finalized yet".   Is anyone else still experiencing this delay?  thank you.

I’m using the desktop version Home & Business and the same thing is happening and when I go to the Notify me by email when the forms will be available I get an error message that it cannot do it

Am experiencing the same issue on my desktop software.  Really want to file this but question how that is possible if Intuit haven't integrated the finalized forms yet.

mbcohen, yes yesterday and tonight tried to view print my NYS tax froms couldn't. I tried to have TurboTax notify me when the forms were available that was a dead end. I'm going to call TurboTax tommorow. How can I submit my taxes when the froms haven't been finalized yet.

FYI if you go into forms in "my return" you will see all the NYS froms used for your return.

To save and/or print both Federal & NY state return after filing:

1. Launch Turbo tax and select "continue" your return
2. Go to Forms view
3. Scroll down to NY state form "Estimated Wks" 
4. Scroll to part III (rounding and printing options)
5. Select " Do not print vouchers"
6. Click on Print Center at the very top of the screen
7. On "What Forms Would You Like to Generate?
   Select "Forms to review or keep..."
   Select "Tax Return, Key Calculation Worksheets
8. You should be able to print and save as PDF
9. The PDF File Saved/printed will include both Federal & NY State Returns all in one.
10. Click File Save before exiting program.

Thanks for the reply. This morning I opened TurboTax and it began an update procedure (it hadn't done since I installed it) the update had something to do with NYS. I went to my tax return and I was now able to print my entire tax return including NYS.

Same here, got an NYS update, after install everything printed as normal.  Thanks for the quick fix.
