I accidentally filed my 2016 return looking at a W2 from 2015, what do I do to correct that?

You will need to amend your return, you cannot amend a return while it is in the pending status, you will need to wait till your return is either rejected or accepted.

If your return ends up rejected, you can just simply correct the W2

If your return is accepted, then you can amend(change) your return to correct your W2, when you amend a return you will need to print and mail in the amendment.
