I just discovered I did not have to actually ammend my tax information. Is there a way I can reverse it?

My dad needed me to list myself as someone he can claim as a dependent, but after some research I discovered that he can't legally do so because I'm 21 and not a full time student. I already tried to amend my tax return today to fix this, but since I've discovered otherwise, I want to change or reverse the amended form. Is there a way to do this at all?

Note: I amended the form little over an hour ago today.

Did you actually go ahead and mail the amendment into the IRS?

No, not yet. I revised it over turbotax about an hour ago

As long as you don't send in the amendment to the IRS they will have no knowledge of it, so if you don't want to amend just don't mail anything in

Ok. Do I have to do anything to revise it on Turbotax or is it all good?
