I just got off the phone with IRS again and they 1st ask if I had received a letter. Then they put me on hold for 10 mins. Came back on only to say I should have my full refund with the next 4 weeks. I was accepted on 1/14. This is bull!

@jessica6649 did you see your money in your account today?? I checked Santa Barbara and they have my refund and have taken the money out I just didn't know when it will show pending on my account

Someone actually got through to an IRS agent and was told that the PATH restrictions had not been lifted yet and most EITC filers would not see a refund before 2.27.  Now how is it that some people ARE getting refunds before the 27th?

I don't understand that my friend filed the same time I did and she got a DDD date for 2/22 and mine still says processing since last weekend.

The question is, do you both have the same acceptance date and are you both receiving funds the same way.  Did she the fees?, are fees being deposited to a debit card?  will fees be deducted from her refund?

Yes we both had the same acceptance date and IDK about her fees but we filed at the same time and got accepted at the same time. Mine is suppose to get direct deposited into my bank  account.

This is just ridiculous.  There is no rhyme or reason for their process this year.  Its bad enough the most of our refunds have been drastically reduced...and mine is not because I brought more home in my paycheck either.  I didn't get not one extra dime.  I am one that really depends on my refund to catch up each year and I just KNEW I would have mine this weekend and I get tired of checking every morning around 5am to just be disappointed for the rest of the entire day.  Good luck to you, hope that you get yours soon.

I completely agree @LilCoop every morning I check mine to get the same thing on my screen.. This is very ridiculous I am trying to get a new car and the dealership just waiting on me now he had been holding a car for me since the beginning of February... I just don't understand this process last year I had no problem and nothing has changed except I made more money

Wow.  I'm sorry that you're going through but again.  I tried my best to get through to the IRS yesterday but had to go to work.  I was on hold initially for 58mins before they disconnected the call and said that they could not answer my type of call.  Seriously?  Well, someone read my post and was able to get through and speak with some one that was very nice.  She said that the PATH act had not been lifted yet and that we should see "updates" not refunds but "updates this week or FRIDAY.  And of course the information regarding this matter states that none claiming EITC should get a refund before February 27th.  That's another whole week.  I'm done.

My date says approved and will be sent to your bank by 2/22 and if it isn't by the 27th to ask bank so I'm confused will I get it tomorrow
