Would turbo tax know what happened to my money

I called Irs offset hotline  and they told me it was garnished  ....I thought y’all was supposed  to stop that no matter what that’s y all charged me 85

TurboTax NEVER knows about offsets to your refund and has no control whatsoever over offsets.  If the IRS or your state seized your refund for a debt you owe they will mail you a letter of explanation.
