Wmr says refund being processed a date will be provided when available. What does this mean?

Exactly what it says.  

When you file a tax RETURN the IRS receives it, then IRS  processes the RETURN, if they find no issues or problems with the data you've included in the return, they approve the REFUND and give you a date to expect the REFUND to be issued.

That's a bunch of bull.   I've been told it's because turbo tax doesn't ask for all the information needed for an accurate return.  Which is what's causing the delay in my return and why my wmr is still saying the same thing after nearly 5 months.

Mine still says it after almost 3 months..I used the H&R Block app to file

Turbo tax has consistently messed up my returns, had me audited, and cannot provide their gaurantee to the refund listed under any situation. They are a scan and should be avoided. Paying a tax accountant will invariably yield you a larger return, quicker, with less hassle and a human to interact with. The last time I called turbo tax their rep was having internet issues and proceeded to yell at me. Done with that company. On another note, it's a few days from July, and my piddly return is still "being processed"

TurboTax is just  tax preparation software.  Its only as accurate as the person entering the data.  

Once you E-file the return and IRS accepts, TurboTax has NO control over (and gets NO information) about anything else that happens, its between you and IRS.

TurboTax does NOT guarantee the data you entered is accurate (theres no way for it to know).

Paying a tax professional can be a wise choice for many people and save you time and money in the long run.
