Will you please tell me how to file my 2017 taxes, I do not want to amend them because it hasn't been filed, nor do i want to 2020at this time?

I got letter from IRS stating that I need to file for 2017. You are giving me information I dont need. I just need information to file 2017, not amend it, it hasnt bee filed yet

TurboTax online and e-file for 2019 ended on Oct 15, 2020. 2019 (and earlier tax years) can now only be completed using the CD/download software installed on a Mac or Windows computer. The return must be printed, signed and mailed.

If you used the 2017 program to complete the return and it is ready to mail in then save a PDF of the return, print, ink sign and mail them in.

the deadline for filing unextended 2017 returns showing a refund was 4/15/2021. if extended 10/15/2021.

if unextended you can file but don't expect to get your refund because you are past the deadline.  on the other hand if you owe, the sooner you file and pay the less the penalties will be.
