Just wondering if anyone had heard any new information on weather or not these stimulus checks will be going on our turbo tax cards or not.
If you received your federal tax refund by direct deposit on the Turbo Visa card then you will receive the stimulus payment by direct deposit on the Turbo Visa card.
If you received your federal tax refund by direct deposit into your bank account then you will receive the stimulus payment by direct deposit into the same account.
I don’t understand how this is an acceptable response!!!! We are in the absolute middle of this thing and you’re telling me that’s all you got for your millions of out of work customers that are expecting you to pull through on this. You’re almost saying “**bleep** us”...are you serious??? Ya tone is out of order as well. Answer the question without stating how many times you have or quit ya **bleep**ing job
That awkward moment where you shut the **bleep** up

I hope you are hedging your bet because the government had announced people who opted to receive their refunds on a prepaid card would be mailed a check. And since everyone I know who listed direct deposit banking information has received their payment, and no one at Intuit is willing to definitively answer the question, I'd guess those of us who relied on Intuit's shoddy product have to wait until April 17 to submit our bank information and wait some more.

Why are you as an accredited business avoiding answers to important questions about taxpayers stimulus funds? we need answers and DEMAND them NOW!!! I’m taking into consideration not continuing business with this site next year,as many others are due to this B.S .. ANSWERS
I haven't received mine either . Hopefully by the end of this week we should get them or I will not be going through TurboTax next year.
2 things i learned from blogging here for a few days b4 my refund hit
1)TT updates their system 3 or 4 times a day. First time is at 10, then around 1, safter that i'm not sure.
2) i was supposed to get my refund wednesday. Tuesday i was blogging with absolutely no clue or notification of a pend or anything. We had tslked about the 1:00 feed. Checked at 1 and boom outta nowhere it was there. 1 day early at 1:00 out of the blue
Think about it. If wer'e supposed to have it wednesday, that means, when we wake up on wednesday, or midnight even. The IRS aint gonna wait til the very second we supposed to have it to send it. They have to send it prior. TT gotta be sittin on it right now preparing to send it thru on a feed, maybe already scheduled for the mid day or end dsy feed. But since they bein how they bein....maybe wait until 6am tomorrow.
Gonna be a long day
This is an accurate if you received an advance payment or paid your taxes through your refund payment the account information the IRS has on file is for TurboTax business Account not your green dot card..The IRS loads the money into their account they take their fees and then load the money into your account
I paid for tax preparation using Santa Barbara TPG this tax season. How will I receive my Economic Impact Payment?
The IRS will issue direct deposits to taxpayers that requested a direct deposit disbursement or applied for a new debit card when they prepared their own return online. An IRS-issued check will be mailed to taxpayers that requested a check printed from their tax professional's office, Walmart Direct2Cash or a Walmart MoneyCard issued by their tax professional.
If a payment is returned to the IRS (Ex. bank account is closed), the IRS will mail a check to the taxpayer."
I'm assuming the above would be the same as far as TurboTax, H&R etc,. Right?
Thanks Gave me a better explanation than any of the Turbo tax employees
Guys... I couldn't agree more with everybody that has made these posts and comments on here. The IRS has answers on their website but it is odd that TurboTax only keep sending out automated messages that say the same thing over and over to their millions and millions of customers that have been so very long for so long and I paid so much money for their services pain at the very least they could have some of their employees send out some kind of thoughtful responses rather than just an automated message. I was looking back on Google and reading up to see how all this worked back in 2008 when they were the last stimulus checks came out. According to the IRS fax page from back then which you can pull up BTW, it said that people that received a refund anticipation loan through a tax preparer or had fees deducted from there text for the tax repair services, would receive a check, meaning they would not get direct deposit. So it did not matter if a person got a loan or not. Either way even if you paid for their services and the services were deducted from your refund, or if you end up getting a loan, either way it was the same. Either way you had to wait for a check. I remember back in 2008 I ended up getting a check and it was because I use liberty tax and I did get a refund anticipation loan. For the last two years I have used TurboTax and I have not received any kind of loan but I wanted to see what would happen since my taxes were not free to file. I had to pay. So since I had to pee and I did not pay upfront, I had the amount deducted from my payment this year. Even though my taxes were automatically sent to my bank because I have direct deposit, there has to be a way for TurboTax to get their fees out first. So to answer the question from people that commented above, it does make a lot of sense and of course it makes sense that TurboTax as well as any other tax preparers would have the taxes sent to their own account first and from there they deposit it into your account. how else would they have their fees deducted first then before it gets to us as customers? It's the same if a person gets a refund anticipation loan, they take their fees first before they end up giving you a check if you chose to have a check printed at the office. Some people choose to have it direct deposited into their account but either way before it happens the company takes out their money. So I thought I was in the clear and I thought that I would receive and direct deposit but it was not until this morning that I started looking this stuff up. And it dawned on me that my fees for tax preparation was taken out of my refund. So it made me wonder what information does the IRS have exactly? Does the IRS have my bank account information or do they actually have TurboTax information? I believe that is the case that they have turbo taxes information and therefore as indicated back in 2008 on the IRS website in the facts page oh, we would be a part of the group that would have to wait to receive their stimulus check by getting a check in the mail and again that can take all the way up through August to receive. I do not want this to be the case and I'm hoping that I will get back on here in the next couple of days just to see that people have responded and saying that they have received their checks through direct deposit. But I have a feeling that for many of us it will take much longer I hope that is not the case though. It is really worrisome on top of it knowing that TurboTax is not addressing any issues and choosing not to answer any questions.
So just to get this right: if you’re an actual PAYING customer of Turbo Tax you’re screwed but if you FREE filed you will have no issue getting your handout on the card? Cool. If I have to wait for a paper check as a paying Turbo Tax customer I think it’s safe to say the majority of us will be finding an alternate service for 2020 taxes. What a bunch of bs.
I'm curious, just like everyone else is about this.
But I'm not here to bash on Intuit for not knowing all the details. Especially when a never before payment is being distributed to millions of people, after less than a month of it being finalized with the IRS.
It doesn't matter how "close" or how big a company is with the IRS. That doesn't give them all the answers.
The IRS's own website and tool for this hasn't even been completed yet. How would you expect a different company to have all the details?
I understand that people are frustrated, and they really only are because they know that other people have gotten their money already, and they haven't seen theirs. But I promise you, if Intuit needs more information, they will contact you. We all got emails and alerts when our taxes were filed and approved did we not?
If anything, Intuit might have to update the accounts with the IRS so they send them to the correct bank accounts. I'm sure that Intuit wouldn't want to just come out and say that.
But really, you people are asking this question based on a Facebook post that went around from someone saying that if you did online tax filing with a company like Turbo Tax, that you would have to update your bank information on the IRS website. And ya know what? If that is the case, then great! You can do it on the 17th, just like the millions of other people will have to as well.
Just calm down, be patient, and wait for further information.
