Will I qualify for the third stimulus if I checked that I could be claimed?

My question is pretty much the title. I checked that I could be claimed as a dependent by my mother is not claiming this year. I thought I might not be eligible at that point but my tax refund was direct deposited into my account so now I am confused. Can anyone share some insight on this?

As long as you meet all of the requirements, then yes, you can still receive the third stimulus payment even though you noted that you could be claimed as a dependent even though your mom did not claim you.

The latest stimulus payment applies to dependents over the age of 17 unlike the prior stimulus payments. Please see the link below for additional information.
