This is actually causing me a lot of trouble as my former spouse cannot file her taxes because my return somehow transmitted a child she normally claims.
I double checked a few things, and my return shows in every single other area that I am only claiming ONE dependent. It shows that on my state return, as well as on my sheet for additional child tax credit. But under my dependents it still shows both of them. I have filled out the TurboTax questionnaire this same way in previous years, listing the second child as being claimed by someone else, and they have never shown up on my return after transmission like this. I would also have just looked up what I put for that child in the TurboTax questionnaire, but I cannot see the questionnaire because I have already filed, and after spending almost 2 hours on the phone with support, they could not get me or anyone on their side to see it either.
To be more certain, I filled out a mock return through another service, and when I completely left the second dependent out of the questionnaire, I got the EXACT same return amounts that I got on my 2020 TurboTax federal and state returns. When I added the second child but marked them as not being claimed by myself like I did in TurboTax, I AGAIN got the exact same results. When I added the child AS being claimed by myself, the amounts tripled from what they were on my TurboTax federal return.
I can only conclude that I filled everything out right in TurboTax, but TurboTax messed up and sent my other child on my taxes anyways. I really need help with this as soon as possible. I tried posting about this once already, but nobody has responded, so I'm making this as a shorter post. Original post with more details is linked below. Please help

I was able to get through to someone from support who was able to help me figure this out. This issue is resolved now, thanks
