Why was my 2024 tax return not accepted

My e-file tax return was not accepted or rejected. What do I do?

e-filing for 2024 through TurboTax is closed. If you want to use TurboTax, the return must be printed and mailed following the filing instructions. Use a tracking service. FYI, TurboTax closes e-filing for each calendar tax year soon after the extended due date passes. You have until 10/15/2026 to e-file 2025 through TurboTax. The only exception, and then only for a few additional days, is a user who e-files on or before the extended due date, generally 10/15, but is rejected.
