Why is Turbotax not allowing me to get EITC when I am eligible as a youth who will be homeless in 10 days. The program says I do not qualify why is that?

The new qualification allows young adults who are suffering from homelessness, or will be homeless.

That maybe a new rule for 2024 next year.  

If you are under 25 or over 65 you need a qualifying child to get the EIC.
