Why is my stimulus money mailed?

Hey I filed taxes with Turbo tax two weeks ago. This was done through the free E-File where I provided my bank information. Despite that, the "Get My Payment"   on the IRS website said my Check would be mailed (with no available option of providing bank information).This is a huge inconvenience.

TT has no way of knowing why. They only charged you to process your taxes. They don't have answers to what the IRS is doing with the stimulus.

Be glad you have a message telling you that your payment will be mailed; that likely means it's already in the mail and you'll receive it very soon (quite a few people received checks dated the 24th in the mail today). A lot of us haven't gotten direct deposit dates OR a message about a check.

Mine ain't too promising and has me on edge since 7 am MST on Wed., 4.15.2020. I used the GMP tool through the IRS just to find out that i was part of the 1 million that used a tax company and the IRS didn't have my acct info. 

All it reads is that they are aware i'm eligible and once they have a ddd (date of direct deposit) they will deposit into my acct ending in xxxx. So, I guess its coming, but like everyone else im in need. my 2019 are held. they were due for review 4.21.2020. still no update in WMR. & i just read that ppl are in the same boat as me are even waited longer so. i just need to wait or call TAS. which i plan to. good luck

Yes, the IRS portal says April 24th for me as well. It never asked me for my account info though.  Its just weird because the IRS took money out of my bank for taxes but now they have no idea what my bank account is...

The form you signed authorized them to withdraw funds from your account, but have not allowed them to deposit funds into your account. You also need to agree to the deposit terms and conditions.
