@eb76baad8ce5 ..."to this day....11-4-23". This is not 2023. This is 2024. Are you referring to your 2022 tax return that should have been filed in 2023? Or are you referring to your 2023 return which should have been filed in 2024?
That means your return was not e-filed --- and if you did not put a printed tax return in an envelope and mail it yourself, then your tax return was not filed at all. The only way to file it now is by mail. E-filing is closed. You will need to print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in to the IRS and state.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
