Why is my return still pending in turbo tax system ? it’s been more than 3 days

I log in to turbo tax and my return is stuck in transit

Once the return is put in the "holding pool" it is up to the IRS to come and drain it  so all you can do is wait.  Of course this being a holiday weekend it may not go thru until Tuesday so check again then.  Often the IRS uses long holiday weekends to do program updates and maintenance which means delays in normal operations.
